Presenting the AI solutions we are developing for the Government of Karnataka’s seed sector at the Department of Agriculture’s state-level monsoon-season workshop in Bengaluru, 19 May 2026.
01 The Workshop
On 19 May 2026, RootsGoods took part in the State-Level Monsoon Season Workshop (Mungaru Hangami Karyagara) organised by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Karnataka, in Bengaluru. The workshop convened agricultural officers, scientists, and domain experts ahead of the Kharif season.
02 Our Presentation
We were invited to present the AI-driven solutions we are building for the Government of Karnataka in the seeds sector from AI-based seed viability and germination testing to quality certification and demand forecasting across the seed supply chain. The aim is simple: replace visual guesswork with objective, data-backed decisions that help the department serve farmers faster and more reliably.
The conversation that followed was energising, with strong interest in applying technology to long-standing challenges. We are grateful to the Department of Agriculture for the warm welcome and the opportunity to contribute to Karnataka’s vision for a more data-driven, resilient agricultural ecosystem.
